2014 Challenge Cup Champions!
What an amazing weekend for the FIRE. I have to admit, I was pretty nervous going in to the weekend, not knowing what to expect, who was going to show up, how were we going to handle the pressure.
Cooler heads prevailed in all games; you acted like a team, looked like a team, and played like a TEAM in all 3 games this weekend. You controlled, you communicated, you passed and passed and passed, and shot everything you could at the night with about 25% going in; we’ll address the other 75% at practice on Wednesday!!! What did count was this:
- 3 Games
- 3-0 over Chatham
- 9-0 over German Canadians
- 6-0 over North London
- 3 shutouts
equals 2014 U15 Boys Challenge Cup Champions……..
You guys made my day/weekend/ and season to date. #GoFireGo
