Oakridge FIRE Soccer

After a successful season winning the U15BC Challenge Cup & Regular Season Competitive League Title (11-2-1), the Oakridge FIRE 1999 Boys Soccer Team will be holding assessments in search of players to join its program as the team will be playing in the regional WOYSL L3 U16 next summer as well as developing a team to play in the LDYSL L5 U16 division.

We are actively looking for high-level well rounded/multi-position competitive players to join the team to compliment an existing strong core group of players.

Assessment dates are as follows:

Saturday, Sept 13; 1130am-1pm – Springbank Flats
Saturday, Sept 20; 1130am-1pm – Springbank Flats
Saturday, Sept 27; 1130am-1pm – North London Fields – #1
Saturday, Oct 4; 1130am-1pm – North London Fields – #1

Field Locations:
Springbank Flats Field – 89 Springbank Drive; corner of Horton & Springbank, west of Wharncliffe, London
North London Fields – 1225 Adelaide St. North, south of Windemere, London

Players are to come dressed for the weather with a ball, cleats, and shin guards.

A variety of exhibition games are attempting to be scheduled vs L3 teams this fall. Additionally, the team will be discussing the opportunity to play in a couple of tournaments in both Canada and USA this fall/winter.

Players selected to move on from assessments will be asked to continue with the team and play in the LDYSL Indoor League (costs TBD).
